How to Fix Missing Accounting Link from Left-Hand Menu in Sage Construction Management
If you need to refresh the accounting link to your accounting product within Sage Construction Management, follow these steps:
Verify Browser Functionality:
- Open Chrome and Incognito Chrome browsers to check for the missing accounting link.
Log Out and Log In as Administrator:
- Ensure you are logged in as an administrator by checking your user menu in the top right-hand corner. Log out and then log back in as an administrator.
Access Company Settings:
- Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen.
- Go to Company Settings > Profile.
- Scroll to "External Applications Used" and ensure an accounting system is listed within the box.
Update External Applications:
- From the Accounting System drop-down menu, select a different accounting product (it can be any product; you don't need to have this product).
- Click Save, then Close.
- Reselect your original accounting product from the drop-down menu and save your changes again.
Verify the Accounting Link:
- Log out of Sage CM and close your browser and tab.
- Open a new window and log into Sage CM again to confirm the accounting link now appears.
