Resolving 'Lock Closed Periods' Menu Access Issue in Sage Intacct
Issue:
The 'Lock Closed Periods' option does not appear under the General Ledger (GL) menu in Sage Intacct.
Solution:
1. Enable Feature in GL Configuration:
- First, ensure the 'Lock Closed Periods' feature is activated under GL Configuration.
2. Set User Role Access:
- Navigate to Company > Admin > Roles.
- Select the applicable role (e.g., Admin).
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Scroll to the GL section and click on Permissions.
- Under the Books section, check the box for "Lock closed periods..".
- Save and exit.
