Welcome to our guide on manually adding a drawing log to your project in Sage Construction Management. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the platform, this article will walk you through the process step-by-step.
Begin by navigating to the Projects section. You can choose a project from the list or use the hyperlinks provided to access the project you're working on.
Once you've selected your project, scroll down to the Project Library and click on Drawings. Look for the Actions button and select Add Manually.
You can upload your drawing files by either dragging and dropping them into the designated area or by selecting the files from your computer. Remember, zip files are not supported, and if you upload a file containing multiple drawings, you'll have the option to separate them later.
After uploading, click Next. The system will automatically assign drawing numbers and titles, but you can edit these if necessary. Add the required disciplines for each drawing. If your drawings have multiple pages, you can choose to burst them into separate files at this stage.
With all drawings uploaded and organized, click on Create. The upload may take a few minutes. Initially, it may appear that no drawings were added because they are still uploading. Refresh the page after a few minutes, and you will see the drawings appear one by one.
Once all files are uploaded, you can edit the drawing titles, numbers, and disciplines as needed. Additionally, you can download individual drawings, add more files to each, or link existing files for better organization.
Congratulations, you have successfully added a drawing log to your project manually in Sage Construction Management. For further details or assistance, don't hesitate to consult the official Sage user guides or contact their support team.
