Welcome! I'm Tori, and in this tutorial, I'll guide you through the process of adding an addendum to a drawing log within Sage Construction Management software. Whether you're working on projects or leads, the steps are essentially the same, with a few additional options available in projects.
Accessing Your Project
To begin, navigate to the 'Projects' section on the left sidebar. You can select a project from the list provided or use the hyperlink to access your desired project directly.
Navigating to the Project Library
Once you've chosen your project, scroll down to the 'Project Library' and click on 'Drawings' to proceed.
Adding an Addendum Manually
Look for the 'Actions' button on the right side and select 'Add Manually'. By default, your project number will be filled in. In the projects section, you'll have the option to select your prime contract, a feature not available in leads.
Uploading the Drawing File
You can either choose a file from your computer or drag and drop it into the designated area. Click 'Next' to continue.
Editing Drawing Details
At this stage, you can modify the drawing number, title, and release date, although they are automatically populated as defaults. Make any necessary changes and click 'Next'.
Handling Multiple Pages
If your PDF contains multiple pages, you can utilize the 'Burst' feature. This will create a separate drawing record for each page of the PDF, with a linked file for each one.
Finalizing the Addendum
Click 'Create' to finalize the addendum. It may take a moment to load, especially if you've selected the option for a longer loading time. Once completed, the addendum will appear alongside your drawings.
If needed, you can refresh the page to view the updated list. By going into 'Revision Details', you can verify the addendum you've added.
Conclusion
That concludes our guide on adding an addendum to a drawing log in Sage Construction Management. With these simple steps, you can efficiently update your project documentation and keep your records organized.
