Configuring Payroll Taxes Based on Employee Residential State

How to use Employee's Residential Taxes regardless of what taxes are on the Project In Sage Intacct Payroll:

  1. Import in a Job Chargeable Record with the % wildcard as the Project
    1. Payroll - Setup - Imports:  JOB CHARGEABLES
    2. Select Import Rows
    3. Manually enter the line instead of importing a file by clicking on the job field.
    4. Enter in % for the job ID and then an effective date that is earlier than next payroll.
    5. Select the Continue button and click Yes to Submit
    6. Once back at the main import screen, select Save Records






2.  Add the Work Location Chargeable of % to the employee record
  1. Payroll - Setup - Employee
  2. Open the employee screen up and go to the Resident Taxes Tab
  3. Select the drop down list arrow and select % under the Work Location Chargeable
    1. This will tell the system to always get the taxes from here no matter what Project is being worked on for this employee.
  4. Click the Save button on this tab
